Women’s Policy Institute | Women’s Foundation of California
Women’s Policy Institute (WPI) amplifies the voices of women and trans folks throughout the state, training them to be policy advocates and champions for gender justice. WPI includes two year-long programs in which community-based leaders of diverse backgrounds and experiences are paired with mentors and work in teams to advocate for and implement important policy projects at the state and at the county levels.
2016-2017 Women´s Policy Institute fellows who are members of the Child Care Team worked together with mentors and supporters to shape AB 273. Please visit the WPI website for more information.
Parent Voices is a parent-run, parent-led grassroots organization fighting to make quality child care accessible and affordable to all families. A project of the California Child Care Resource and Referral Network (the Network), this chapter organization works throughout California to improve access to child care for all families in their communities, in California, and in the United States.
Parent Voices combines leadership development, advocacy, and community organizing in its efforts to increase funding, improve quality, and provide better access to child care. Please visit PV website for more information.
